Editor's Note: Infant Formula Update Because infant formula manufacturers regularly evaluate and make changes to their products, some of the values in the tables published in Volune 13, Issues 3 & 4 may have changed. One of particular significance, is the change in ALSOY which now contains corn maltodextrin and is therefore NO LONGER SUITABLE for the infant with an allergy to corn. At present, the only corn-free formula is Alimentum. Please note also, that the predominant protein in Similac ADVANCE is casein and not whey as published in Issue #3. Please contact company representatives if you have questions about any of the values.
